If the PoC is NOT Acceptable
After the PoC is submitted, whether it was received in the allotted time or not, DADS determines whether the PoC is acceptable.
If a PoC is not acceptable, DADS rejects it and seeks an acceptable PoC by contacting the facility.
If the new PoC is unacceptable, the region:
- notifies State Office Provider Services, which may send a vendor hold letter to the facility.
If a facility fails to submit a PoC and the region determines that the reason is inadequate, DADS may recommend vendor hold and/or enforcement actions.
