What are Aktion Clubs?

Aktion Clubs are community service clubs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At the state supported living centers, the clubs are made up primarily of resident members.

Aktion Clubs are part of Kiwanis International, a civic organization whose focus is on changing the world one child and one community at a time. Each Aktion Club is sponsored by a local Kiwanis organization.

The partnership between the Kiwanis Club, Texas Oklahoma District and DADS provides new opportunities that enhance the quality of life for residents and volunteers at state supported living centers across Texas.

Which living centers have an Aktion club?
