Congratulations on your decision to host the Fit for the Health of It! 12-Week Texercise program.
We have made it easy to start. Here are the steps and resources to guide you during the 12-week program.
Please keep in mind that although Texercise promotes and encourages intergenerational fitness, the programs resources and incentives were specifically designed for older adults and people with disabilities. Motivational incentives are to be provided to participants who are 45 years or older.
Get a group together and show people how easy it is to get fit and feel great.
Review your exercise options and decide what fitness activities you will use in your Fit for the Health of It! 12-Week Texercise Program.
Some options include walking, dancing, bicycling and exercise classes using the exercises provided in the Texercise handbook or Fit for the Health of It! DVD. Or try a combination of fitness activities.
To encourage participation and continued involvement, select activities participants enjoy.
