This section of the website offers resources regarding the early childhood intervention component of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, which requires that children with disabilities birth through age 2 receive services necessary to support their development.

Resources

  • Disability.gov includes resources related to early intervention services.
  • First Signs, Inc. provides an early intervention overview and links to other resources.
  • Penn State University presents guidelines for early intervention for young children with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other disabilities.
