The National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) of 1993 — it's still the law

The NVRA of 1993 requires the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) staff and some providers to offer an individual applying for DADS services the opportunity to register to vote. Registering to vote

Individuals applying for services must be given the opportunity to register to vote using DADS Form 0030, Application for Voter Registration.

DADS staff may consult their policy handbook or regional policy contact person for additional information regarding voter registration policy and forms.
