How to Become an MDCP Provider

DADS will not Process MDCP Contract Applications Postmarked after June 30, 2016

HHSC is expanding managed care to include services provided to children and young adults enrolled in MDCP beginning Nov. 1, 2016. Because of this transition to managed care, DADS will not process MDCP contract applications postmarked after June 30, 2016. MDCP contract applications postmarked on or before June 30, 2016 will continue to be processed by DADS staff.

The managed care expansion is a result of amendments to the Texas Healthcare Transformation and Quality Improvement Program 1115 demonstration waiver.
