Aging in Texas Conference 2016

The Aging in Texas Conference supports professionals in the field of aging with current research, training, and tools and resources to create excellence in service delivery.  With educational programming covering a variety of areas, this conference is beneficial to everyone involved with caring for Texas seniors, from administrators to service providers.

It is sponsored by the Texas Association of Area Agencies on Aging, the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services, and the Texas Association of Regional Councils.

Positive Behavior Management and Support Workshops

This 12-hour training will teach participants how and why attention can be a powerful tool for behavior change, how to use reinforcement to tip the scales toward adaptive, positive or successful behaviors, and how to safely and effectively redirect potentially harmful behaviors as a last resort.
