The URM program is funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and is administered through affiliates of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services that are licensed by the state to provide child welfare benefits. The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) receives pass-through funding from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission Office of Immigration and Refugee Affairs and enters into contract with eligible URM sites that have been approved by ORR.

5120 Services

Texas law provides benefits until the age of 20 if the minor is enrolled full-time in school.
