VOLUNTARY QUIT PENALTIES: POTENTIAL FOOD STAMP IMPACT

PURPOSE

To provide a list of TANF clients in which SAVERR automatically closed an open voluntary quit penalty for TANF. SAVERR automatically closes a TANF open voluntary quit penalty because the minimum three month period has elapsed. The automatic closure of the penalty may have increased the TANF benefit and the food stamp case may need to be adjusted.

PROCEDURE AND DISTRIBUTION

The RA-97 is produced monthly after cutoff. It lists all TANF cases that are active or on hold with

DESCRIPTION OF DATA ELEMENTS

Region —  The region reflected in the BJN on the associated TANF/TANF-UP case.

Unit —  The unit reflected in the BJN on the associated TANF/TANF-UP case.

BJN —  Full BJN shown on SAVERR for the TANF/TANF-UP case.

Client Name —  Name of client with penalty type "V."

Client Number —  Client number of the client with the "V" penalty.

AFDC/AFDC-UP Case Number —  The AFDC/AFDC-UP(TANF/TANF-UP) case number for this case name.

Case Name —  The TANF/TANF-UP case name.

Last Voluntary Quit Penalty
