Orientation Materials and Training Opportunities

The following training materials are only available to provider agencies under the current DADS EVV Initiative.

The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), in coordination with EVV vendors and DADS, will be conducting provider education and training on the operational requirements and the use of the HHSC EVV system. Additional information will be forthcoming.


Registration Available for HHSC EVV Reason Code Training Webinars

DADS staff will conduct two live online training webinars for provider agencies on the new HHSC EVV initiative Reason Codes on April 10 and 15, 2015.

All provider agencies required to use EVV under the HHSC EVV initiative are encouraged to participate in one of these two optional live webinars to learn more about the new HHSC EVV reason codes.

Providers who wish to participate in this optional training must register for a session by clicking on the appropriate registration link. Listed below are the available dates and times training will be provided.

You will need a computer connected to the internet and a telephone to participate in these webinars.

Computer Based Training for the Electronic Visit Verification System

Training for the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system is available through independent computer-based training (CBT). The CBT will allow you to take self-paced training at your convenience. Please note that all of the training modules in the course will need to be completed in order to meet the training requirements necessary to access the EVV system.
