State supported living center locations
The Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) seeks to improve the quality of life for Texans with intellectual and physical disabilities by providing efficient and effective services and supports thereby enabling them to lead lives of dignity and independence.
Some Texans with intellectual or physical disabilities choose to live in state supported living centers, while some live in their communities. The mission of the state supported living centers is to provide residential services and supports that assist people who may benefit from 24-hour supervision and active treatment.
The DADS state supported living centers provide campus-based direct services and supports to people with intellectual and physical disabilities at 12 locations.
